Martyr’s Relic Sacred Heart Ornament

Hand embroidered Sacred Heart ornament with a silver heart and sword charm, made on wine velvet.

This piece is built around a silver-toned flaming heart at the centre, surrounded by red and silver beadwork. A small sword charm hangs from the base, adding a bit of movement.

The beadwork is dense, so it catches the light against the darker velvet.

It took around 10 hours to make, stitched entirely by hand.

Designed to hang on a wall or as part of a display.

This is a one-of-one piece. I don’t remake designs, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
