At Girdle of Venus,I take immense pride in the craftsmanship of every hand-embroidered piece. Because of the unique nature of our work, my return policy is as follows:
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Due to the time, labour and specific materials involved in creating a bespoke or custom piece, these sales are considered final. I am unable to offer returns or exchanges on items made specifically to your request.
Ready-to-Ship (1 of 1) Pieces
I want you to love your new heirloom. If you feel the piece isn't quite right for you, I accept returns on my "Ready-to-Ship" items within 14 days of delivery.
Condition: The item must be unworn, in its original packaging and in the same pristine condition in which it arrived.
Process: Please contact me at rebecca@girdleofvenus.com to initiate a return and I will provide you with the return address. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Damages & Quality Issues
While I meticulously inspect every bead and stitch before dispatch, I understand that transit can be unpredictable. If your charm arrives damaged or there is a structural issue with the craftsmanship:
Please contact me at rebecca@girdleofvenus.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the item.
I will prioritise a repair or a replacement to ensure you have a piece you are proud to wear.
A Note on the Nature of Handmade Art
Please remember that each piece is hand-embroidered. Slight variations in bead placement or texture are not flaws; they are the "fingerprints" of handmade art and are what make your 1 of 1 piece truly unique.
