Montchenu Heart Wall Hanging

Hand embroidered heart wall hanging with a rose, sword and key, made on red velvet.

This piece is inspired by the heart-shaped medieval manuscript Chansonnier de Jean de Montchenu.

The surface features a beaded rose and a sword, with a small silver key stitched into the design.

It took around 12 hours to make.

Designed to hang as a small textile piece.

This is a one-of-one piece. I don’t remake designs, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
