Lace Reliquary Heart Wall Hanging

Hand embroidered Sacred Heart wall hanging with lace and beadwork, made on wine velvet.

This piece is built around a red beaded heart, stitched densely so it has a slightly raised surface. It’s surrounded by a halo of white beads and set onto a layer of soft floral lace.

The contrast between the structured beadwork and the softer lace gives it a more textured, layered feel.

It took around 9-10 hours to make, stitched entirely by hand.

Designed to hang as a small wall piece or part of a display.

This is a one-of-one piece. I don’t remake designs, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
